The Pheasant Rump First Nation is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated individual to fill the position of Early Years Teacher, based out of the Little Peoples Learning Lodge.


  • Post-secondary degree in education.
  • Possess a current and valid driver’s license.
  • Previous experience as an Early Years Teacher is an asset.
  • Proficiency in the operation of computers.
  • Satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable persons check.
  • Must hold a valid Saskatchewan Professional “A” Teaching Certificate.

  • A desire to work with children.
  • Appreciation and respect for diversity and First Nation Language, culture and traditions.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic organizational skills, record keeping skills and computer skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
  • Ability to engage students in a positive manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

Skills and Abilities:

  •  All teaching duties from Kindergarten to Grade 4
