UPDATED: March 15, 2020

As the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues to evolve, the Treaty Education Alliance is taking a proactive approach to help ensure the safety of our staff, and the staff, students and community members of the First Nations we serve.

TEA is taking the following steps effective immediately:

  • All staff travel will be halted.
  • All upcoming gatherings, community sessions, PDs and in-services will be cancelled.

Our staff will remain available by phone and email, and are committed to providing quality services to our member schools and communities throughout this time.

We ask that all schools and communities have a plan in place to effectively handle any potential situations that may arise. To assist with this planning, Treaty Education Alliance has prepared a COVID-19 infosheet. NEW: TEA COVID-19 Info Sheet

If any member schools decide it is in the best interest of their community to postpone operations, we ask that you reach out to Treaty Education Alliance so that we may support you in any way necessary.
